As a matter of fact, even as the most accessible way to get here it’s from the State of Sinaloa, its located at the limit of the States of Sinaloa and Sonora, between the Sea of Cortes and Jitzámuri Bay.

The main Access is through a paved highway via Los Mochis-Ahome-Las Lajitas; it’s a four lane highway from Los Mochis to Villa de Ahome and a two lane way from Villa de Ahome to Las Lajitas. The total length of the paved way it’s 56 kilometers.

From the end of the paved highway via Los Mochis-Las Lajitas, to this place, it’s accessed by the beach area and it has a 22.5 kilometers length. This could be a scenic way or a seafront, because of the beauty of this place.

It’s necessary to foresee the extension of the paved highway on a 3.8 km distance. It’s also important to consider the building of one or two bridges to cross a marsh located in the place. The bridges could be between 150 to 200 meters.

An alternate route is through La Despensa town, it’s a gapped way of 34 kilometers (paved until the town).
