
Sarcocaule:
The vegetation consists on thick branched bushes frequently twisted. They grow typically on the East coast to the northwest of the country.
These bushes’ height is within a meter and two, they have thick branches and little leaves most of these have thorns.
The predominant species in the area in a 5 km radium are Sangregados (Jatropha cordata), Mezquite (Prosopis juliflora), Joso (Albizzia sinaloensis), Nopal (Opuntia cholla), Barchatas (Condolia lucioides), Brea (Circidium sonorae), Sina (Rathbnunia alamosensi), Biznaga (Ferocactus sp.) y Pitahaya (Lemairocereus thurben).
The subsequent area, as mentioned before, it’s used for irrigate agriculture, related to the dry forest.
Other relevant vegetation in the area it’s mangrove swamp, which is located facing the beach, which creates a beautiful visual effect.
